Jay added this qizmo which has an audio clip from "Forrest Gump" where Bubba is explaining all the things you can do with shrimp. I needed the laugh, it worked.
The back. Jay took the shredded remains of his letter and put it back togethor. I love the disregard of putting the work togethor in a manner which is completely unlegible.
Front of what I received from Jay. He used the ashes of his earlier work inside the vial I sent him, and ink. Sort of a sickly pin-up/anima girl. Making light of the current popularity and trend.
A joint project between artists Travis Helmkamp and Jay Hollick. Jay in Washington state, Travis in Virginia, they will exchange a piece of work through the mail that will be constantly changing. A piece is finished when one decides it is, then another is begun. This site will document those changes so one will be able to see the process while it is evolving into the final product. Enjoy.
